You see, this bug doesn't just ruin your save file, it could literally break your cartridge. If Diddy looks like he's holding an invisible barrel, then congratulations, you might have just destroyed your game. Move as far to the left of the screen as you can, put the barrel down on the moving floor and quickly pick it back up. To see this glitch, you start the level as Diddy and pick up the first DK barrel. Granted, some of these are extremely specific and you have to go out of your way to find them, but they can have some pretty horrific side effects. Nintendo says you might be able to fix the problem by releasing it, but if that doesn't work, then you'll have to start the game all over from scratch.
